Conditions HELP!!!

So I came home from work today and found what I can only describe as a skin shell of a Guinea pig. You can see legs ect. Pigs are all accounted for.

3 pigs had litters 2 months ago and are behaving normally.

I have checked over the pigs and can see no signs of anything untoward.

Please can someone advise what this is and how it has come about…..

Idk. That is bizarre af. How big is it? Was there possibly a baby that had been missed? Where did you find it?

I would say it’s the size of a two week old baby. Definitely not missed. I clean them out every other day. It wasn’t there this morning, it was just in the middle of the cage. I just can’t work it out. Ive checked to see if perhaps someone has given birth to it and they all look fine no indication at all. It looks like just the skin, it’s completely empty and hollow

Could it have been in the hay? I found a dead mouse in it once.

No definitely not from the hay as they have had the hay balls rather than loose hey as it occupies them
