help with shelter pamphlet?
Hi, I wanted to post this in the adoption page but I messed up and can't get the global account now with one email. So I apologize if this is in the wrong place. I just started to work for the SPCA -society for the prevention of cruelty to animals. There are on average 6-10 piggies every week. I'm starting to see that no one has a clue as to gp care and I have no idea what they are telling new adopting parents that may not have done thier homework. So I thought of putting together a pamphlet to give to all gp's going to their new homes. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm waiting on a reply from bookstores to see if they'll donate any gp care books. I also thought that I could put down this websight if they have access to a computer because of all the info available here. I was also thinking of printing up some photos of the cages here and putting them up at the shelter for them to see. But I don't want to scare off any potential owners with the size of the cages. I just want them to be educated. The shelter people also. So any help would be so greatly appreciated.
On a different note- I just added a second level to my guys house, and they love it. All they do now is run up and down the ramp. Sorry for the long post but I think it's worth it to try to help these guys. Oh-this is the SPCA of Clearwater,Florida if anyone is looking to adopt.
