We just adopted a piggie from our local pet store. We brought her home put her in with the other piggies and she is chasing them away then goes into the hidey house and makes this really WEIRD sound im not sure how to explain its kind like a chuckiling sound or similar to a bird call. Is she ok? Is she just scared? Our other ones never did this.
Also she is in with the pregnant one is that a bad idea? I don't want my mommy pig having any stress.
Please help!!

First of all, you need to quarintine. She needs to be seperated from the other pigs for three weeks. Since you bought, not rescued a pig from a pet store she needs to go to the vet too.

First of all, you MUST quarantine them. You cannot put her in with your existing pig right away. She must be alone for 3 weeks. What she is doing is teeth chattering because she is angry and upset by the new situation. Please go to the Home page and read about introductions and quarantining, right way please.

Did you read my post? I did not buy her I ADOPTED her in wich I paid no money someone didnt want her and dumped her off at the pet store! Thank you Denise I will go read it right now!

Certainly. I just wish I knew how to post the thread links. I've tried and they don't show up for me. I am totally computer illiterate.

Sorry newpiggylover, you should have made that more clear. Please quarintine.
