OK so I am sorry for posting so many questions today. I have not been active in quite a while. My new 4 week old pig was introduced to my 2 females and neutered male today due to her not eating and while she is happy now my dominate female pig is not taking to the idea of adding a 4th to their pig party. I have done this before but I don't think it gets less stressful. My female is running full speed after the 4 week old in the cage and nashing her teeth at her and nipping/lunging at her. They were fine out of the cage.......hmmmm. After that I think it wore her out as the dominate female walked over to her and sniffed her and feel alseep about 5 inches from her in the cage. Is this OK???? Do you think the running full speed and nipping (no blood yet) will subside?? I am afraid to leave them/go to bed. Any ideas?
Thanks All!
PS...the other 2 pigs could care less and sniff her and walk away. She did do this when I introduced her to my first female but not to my neutered male that I can remember (always possible though). I thought adding from 3 to 4 would be less stress on introductions especially for a 4 week old submissive baby.

How big is your cage? Have you clean and rearrange everything before putting the pigs in?

I have a 2 X 6 lower level as I know the 2x2 and 1 x 2 upper levels don't count. I did clean everything and put all new hidey houses in. I think Darwin has worn herself out because now she will chase her and then fall asleep for a while and do it all over again. She is letting her eat so I hope this is all normal.

I think aslong as no blood is drawn, and your new guinea pig is being allowed to eat and drink then they should be fine just keep a close eye on them, and good luck.
