Hello to all,

It's been a month since I adopted a third guinea pig. The difference with this one is that she's absolutley TOO THIN! She's perfectly healthy and eats normally. Now my question is, should I fatten her up? And if I so, what do I feed her? Bigger portions? Fattier foods?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks, Oscar

Umm, if she's perfectly healthy and eats normally she doesn't need to be fattened up, if she's healthy she's healthy. What do you mean she's too thin, do you see her ribs or something? What are you feeding her?

Do you have a scale? Do you know how old she is?

How do you know she's 'too thin?' Just in proportion to the others? Are they letting her eat okay?

Does she look malnorusihed? A good thing to feed pigs that have a hard time keeping up their weight are quaker oats. Are you sure she just doesn't have a thin frame compared to bulkier pigs?
