I let my guinea pig out to run around and last time I saw him he was under my computer, now he's dissapeared, we put baby carrots all around the rooms he could have gotten into, we even took each of our three dogs by the collar and tried to let them lead us to him, they didn't smell/find a thing! Help, how do I find my little lost piggie?

Recently I had one of my trios out for floor time. Checking on them later on, I saw that I was two pigs short. I search the house, bedroom first. As I walk into the bedroom, I hear happy burbling from under the bed. I look under the bed to find the boar with one of his spayed girlfriends relaxing and talking under the bed!

Don't panic, and listen for any piggie sounds in the house.

I wonder if this person ever found the lost pig?

It would be hard to believe that this person hasn't found their pig by now.

you never know.... she hasnt told us if she found her pig!

Allysse, with what Ive seen on GL and here, you just never know. Although I could qualify it - I wonder if the pig was found alive?

Well considering shes only posted no more then 5 times i think she didnt find her pig.

I would suggest getting the dogs OUT of the house. It's probably scared them silent and really made them feel the need to hide.

Try to think of what makes them come to the sides of the cage. If my pigs hear a plastic bag, or the word hay for that matter they come wheeking and running. Also try to keep it as quiet as possible, that way the environment is "safe" feeling for them to come out of hiding.

Good luck, Please let us know if you have found the wayward pig.

Since I just noticed the date on the original post, I think my advice is probably a moot point. I hope she found it!!!
