If anyone does, they can adopt more and save lives rather than risk the life of their sow.

I think that you should find a way to keep them together. Guinea Pigs often become depressed without a playmate. The best idea is to get the boar neutered. But are you sure you don't want little piggie puppies? They are so cute!

That's lame... Even if you don't breed, that is the WORST thing that someone can say about breeding. You shouldn't have litters just because the pups are cute. There shouldn't be purposly bred guinea pigs at all.
