Hi everyone! I just signed up for an account today but I have been reading this forum for about 6 months. I am currently a student at the University of Pennsylvania and have two guinea pigs, Piggy and Buttercup, who are both around 4 years old. I adopted them both on October 31st, 2011 from a couple who had posted here and on the GuineaPigZone website. Piggy and Buttercup currently live in a 2x4 C&C cage with an L-shaped pet store attachment that I use as their kitchen area. They have two fleece cage liners that go up and over the sides that I completely sewed by hand (my fingers were bleeding by the end of it!). Piggy is the larger tri-colored sow with some white fur, and Buttercup is the darker one with black fur and copper throughout her body. When I first got them there names were originally switched, but it just didn't feel right called Buttercup "Piggy" when she is obviously the skinnier of the two! You can read more about my girls on my profile page!

Welcome to the forum! Your girls are lovely! I really like your cage! :)

Nice cage, and beautiful pigs! Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum. Cute pigs and a cool looking cage, very colorful.

Thank you! I redid their cage about three times and am very proud of it. The three red panels on the front and the blue and yellow panel on the L-shape side are attached with binder clips so I can easily remove them for cleaning the cage. I like to move the fleece forests around to give the piggies some variety, but I am pretty set with the main part for now. Thank you for the nice comments about my pigs. I will tell them what you all said, but I am pretty sure that they already think that they are supermodels because of the way I take pictures of them all the time!
