hey, My name is Megan.

I am 21yrs old, have a beautiful 1yr son and a incredible hubby of 1yr (6together). I have had piggies in the past but none since becoming a mother, so I am a little bit rusty.

I have adopted (well from petshops but were surrounded to them since werent wanted anymore) two male guinea pigs, 1 is 8/9months and one clearly is over 1. Their names are Finely and George! they are in a standard 120cm by 60cm cage as thats all I could fit in my laundry :) they are very timid so tips around that would be great!

were in qld australia and our two girl guinea pigs are rescue adoptions and they were very timid but with very slow introductions they are warming up. more we chase them around the more scary they think we are. The more we hang back and everytime were near its food time so they started to associate us with food. and one of them is alittle more warmed up to us after about two months. But they aren't too scared they just have a scatter reflex when we come near but will stay in our arms if we hold them.

I have a question for you.

Your cage looks so clean. Especially the one which does not have the guinea pigs. What do you do to keep them clean ? I do not have pics of our cage right now, hopefully will post in a few days time.

I am new to this group, and will introduce myself in a separate post.

Thanks.
