Hello Everyone. I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jackie and I am a 32 year old mother of a 5 year old girl, Abbie, wife to a loving & patient husband, and rescuer of 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 guinea pig (and one I bought from a pet store, not real proud of that but glad I have her). I posted my piggy rescue story in the forum titled how this site has changed me. I am normally really good at educating myself when something is new to me as the guinea pig world was (and still is) new. However upon finding this site I have learned that I wasn't as educated as I thought. I am thankful for all the posts, photos and info this site has provided me, as I am now nearly finished with a new C&C cage for my pigs! I cannot wait to introduce my piggies to their new home! I know they will be so happy with it! Thank you to those who have created this site, those who keep it going and those who post all the great information!

Welcome, I learn something new on here every week. There's lots of nice and great people on this site. Please share pigtures of your piggies, we never see enough cute pigs! Three of my six boys also came from the pet store before I found this site. But now that we know better, we can learn from this site and adopt from now on!
