After refusing to pay so much for a commercial hay rack I had a look around the house to see what I could find. I now have a small plastic plant pot stuffed with hay. It's large enough so they won't get stuck in it but small enough so it doesn't take up too much room. The girls roll it around the cage then rest and have a snack. Exersise and food in one neat package:) Plus it's got holes in the bottom so there's a nice air-flow thing happening.

Great idea. I have a clay pot in the cage that I stuff the lettuce in. Sometimes, I'll turn it upside down and stick parsley or cilantro stems in the top and it looks like a tree. The stretch up to get the food and get a little workout that way.

BTW - if you haven't tried cilantro - my piggies LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
