Since there are no guinea pigs in this photo, I thought this would be the best place to post this. Valiant is my 11 month-old mix puppy, who would require his own thread to explain why he is special, and the Nimbus my 2 1/2 year-old visually impaired cat.

Since he is started chewing a bit harder I got Valiant a Kong and stuck one of his dried sweet potato treats in it. Here they are checking it out.

That's really cute. I had a very bonded dog and cat when I lived at home. We'd take our dog for a walk and our cat would follow us back and forth in the bushes near the houses. They ate together and slept together. Our cat was the boss.

They are adorable!!

It is funny how not territorial my guys are since they are all, well guys. I have floated around the idea of getting a pair of sows (in their own cage of course) but I am worried that any girl but me in the house might disrupt the balance lol.

haha my cat did that too! I had a big Weimerauner and my kitten and he were the cutest. He was really patient with my kitten and they slept together and when my dog passed away, my cat ran away. He comes back every so often and just the other day I realized how much like a dog he is even though my dog has been gone for several years. My cat walks beside me and even wags his tail in a weird way!

Well thankfully Nimbus is the most chill cat on the planet. He climbed into the guinea pig cage while I was putting in he start of their new fleece forest.

He proceeded to curl up an get ready for a nap. I was in a super awkward position between the cage cover, loft, and the coro in the loft so Taco and Nacho ran up to him before I had a chance to pull him out of the cage. He just sniffed them, tried to lick one, he used to try and groom Truffle all of the time while we watched tv but I have not let him near these guys for some reason. Everyone was completely unharmed though, other than me twisting my back funny.

So glad I have pets that are all so chill. I worry all of the time about them seeming to have lost their natural instincts. What else can I expect from two spoiled guinea pigs, two blind indoor cats, and a dog that spent the first three months of his life in medical quarinten near death.
