Help! I have had a guinea pig since November last year. His name is Rufus, he is about 8 months old and has long hair. He often comes to me, he is not afraid of anyone and anything, but as soon as he feels my hand on him, he squeaks and runs away. The worst thing is that I have to comb him, which he HATES - he can jump on me, he's very fast and loud, and he shakes a lot. I don't know how to behave in such moments, I'm afraid of hurting him, but somehow I have to take care of his hygiene. The treats don't work...​

The important information may be that he had a fungal infection and I had to lubricate him. Recently, it came back to him, luckily I still have the ointment left, but due to his problems with touching, applying it is difficult
