Hay Has anyone tried Kaytee Supreme Pellets?

I've heard negative comments against the Kaytee brand. Well, mostly against their "Timothy Complete pellets". But has anyone tried their Supreme Pellets?

I read many comments and recommendation online saying that it is very good. And piggies love it.

Is it true? Or should I buy other brand instead?

I wouldn't. I know the big debate about kaytee products is the use of ethoxyquin. I believe it is a preservative. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong. I'd suggest oxbow or KMS hayloft as it is what everyone recommends. Hope that helps!

I use Oxbow essentials. My Guinea pigs LOVE IT. BUT I buy adult. I think Oxbow is better than kaytee.

Kaytee pellets are not recommended. It's not a matter of whether your guinea pigs want to eat them, it's a matter of what's in them. You're better off with KM Hayloft, Oxbow, Sweet Meadow or Mazuri 5664.

Ditto what Pinky said. Kaytee (regardless of which product) tends to run on the low quality side of both hay and pellets.

I would go with Kleenmamas or Oxbow. Much higher quality products.
