Today I made a stop at the SPCA to check out the GP situation, and I am happy to report.... THEY HAVE NO GUINEA PIGS!!!! I was talking with one of the front staff and she said they haven't had any so far this YEAR! Three cheers for responsible GP owners in Saskatoon, SK Canada!!!!!! Yay!

I agree, that's really great! I hope people haven't just been abandoning them instead of taking them to the shelter, but the fact that there haven't been any for a year seems really neat.
