Happy but still more questions :)

This is the best site ever. I now have two very happy little pigs I'm going to change their bedding to cloth nappies and hay with only a little bit of wood shavings. It'll work out cheaper in the long-run and (with a little on still in nappies) I'm in the habbit of washing nappies lol

Couple of questions.
1. I live in Australia (where people still think gps are some type of rat and hay looks like straw) and I was wondering if the green bell peppers everone talks about are what we call capsicums?

2. How often would I have to change the diapers. Everyday or every 2-3 days? Cage is 2x4 with 2 gps in it.

3. Is there a way we can make it that any potential new guinea pig owners get directed to this site before they get their gp's? Then less people would be making all the mistakes I made lol

I've been using cloth diapers in 3/4 of the cage and newspaper covered with carefresh in the other 1/4. It's only been 6 days since we put the girls in their new cage, but it looks like we'll have to change the cloth diapers every 2 to 3 days. Really, we could go longer as they don't pee on the diapers very much, but right below their hay rack is a MESS. They pull hay down and then pee and poop in that. UGH. I don't want to put their hay in the 'bathroom', so I guess I'll deal with this. I could also just spot clean, but it seems like not more trouble to just switch them all out. There are 8 diapers total (chinese prefolds) and I just take them outside to shake and then throw them in the washer.

Thanks Rebecca That's was my idea too. Although I would love a little vaccum type thing that could suck away all the poo without terrorising my pigs lol
