Lol. yup a whol thread for you! Oh you are so lucky, I can't wait till I'm closer to my permit... It's 15 here for the permit, so I've got 2 more years... not fun, nope. Did you have a great birthday?

I can get my permit as soon as I take the written test!! Im going to take it right after the holidays. Wish me luck.

I've got mine, yay! Sorry, but it's not all that grand of a concept. The classes bored me to tears. I'm waiting till July 8th for my license!

Sorry to sound stupid, but are you talking about a car permit...

Yes we are. Here you get a permit at 15 (if you take the Driver's Ed classes that is, and you pass an exam). Six months later you can get your license, if you're sixteen. I'm not till July. I believe it's 17 in England, right?

Yup! So I've got a year and a bit till I can start to learn to drive. When's your birthday mn?

I took the writen test today. I passed!!!! Im so happy. Now all have to do is take one 2 hour behind the wheel lesson and then I can drive! Well legaly. I already know how to drive. Im so happy! I'll have my license by summer vacation!!

Wow I feel like such a loser. I'm turning 19 next week and I don't even have a driver's permit or license . Not my fault really, my mom wouldn't let me get a license since I have brothers who can drive so she said I didn't need one. And my father thought if girls were behind the wheel of the car and were not married or over 21, they were probably whores. Silly dad. But I should be getting my written exam over with in 2 days, hope I pass it or I'll feel like pig poop.

My exam was pretty easy. If you read the driver's handbook you should be fine.

Thats the thing, my brother knows how to drive and he always drives me to where I want to go, so my parents may make me wate a little. Insurance is ridiculousy expensive as well, especially for younger drivers.
