I've had this problem for awhile ever since I started using fleece. Even though I brush it daily and such, my girls shed a TON. The hair gets all over the fleece and there's only two of them. It's kind of frustrating because when my dad brings me to the laundromat, I have to wash my rabbit & pig fleece together, and the hair gets all over my nice clean fleeces. I'm looking at the promising rubber rolling up brush at a local store for $10, do you think I should give it a try?

I use a nail brush from the dollar store.

Works like a charm.

I use a lint roller, after vacuuming it.
It's also alot easier since I purchased sewn cage liners, they stay put alot better than my folded fleece which would move all over the place when I sweeped, rolled or vacuumed.

I think the type of fleece matters too. I've used cheap wal-mart fleece blankets in a pinch and they hang on to the hair a lot worse than nicer anti-pill fleece. The shorter the fibers in the fleece, the better I think. The longer fibers can "grab" the hair and it's harder to get off.

I agree with RubyRain

Type of fleece definitely has something to do with it.

And the type of pig too, I have short hairs but boy oh boy do they shed.

Here, from time to time, I see free dryers on Craigslist. If you could find one, you could always run your fleeces for 10 minutes or so and the hair would end up in the lint trap. The dryer would only be used for that since you would not run a clean item through once you have put soiled fleeces in.
Other than that, a vacuum with a soft brush attachment might be good.

I purchase my fleece from Joann's also, and I believe it's anti-pill. All of the fleece I have doesn't do well with hair. I would get a free dryer, but we already have a dryer and not another attachment to work the extra dryer. My mom has forbidden me to use our washer & dryer, so I have to go to the laundromat with my dad.
This is one of my fleeces:

I don't worry about hair! I don't do anything special give a quick shake and bring it to the laundrymat. The laundrymat washer are better than my apartment coin operated ones. I like the dryer here better tho because the laundry mat ones are so hot they melt my fleece.

I go to a laundromat too Onetwo because my mom forbids me to use her washer + dryer :D But it gets intermixed with my rabbit hair causing a big mess. Should I try separate loads?
