The Guinea pig I adopted awhile back is suddenly losing her hair behind her ears and on her forhead. She's not itching or anything. I plan on taking her to the vet as soon as I can but is their anything I can do as of now? Or any ideas as to what it might be?

The bald spots behind the ears is normal. All pigs are bald behind their ears.

Not all my older girl isn't. My worry is it seems to be getting balder and spreading farther back...

Edit:
I checked lynx it says some hair loss is common around weaning and I got her just weaned so maybe that has something to do with it. But I still plan on taking both of my girls in.
