Miss Piggy looks like shes out of an alien movie! Her babies are getting big enough now where her sides look like somethings going to pop out soon... I really do hope it happens soon! I don't even think I was this anxious when I was about to have my son! I just wanted him out (all 11lbs of him)

Aw, she's pregnant? I must have missed that thread... If you posted it. Good luck! What size cage do you have her in? If she's pregnant, the perfect size is a 2x4, 2x5. Can't wait, because when she has her babies you have to show us the pigtures!!

shes in a 2x3 now... ill have to see what i can do to increase it (im a little short on room) but if i can't i know they will get their space... she gets a tremendous amount of floor time... for sure i will show everyone the pigtures when she has them... for now though here are some pics of my little girl...

A 2x3 would be fine, as long as she is the only one in the cage right now, which sounds like it! Muffin is sooo cute! How long ago was that? I didn't notice she was pregnant, had to look, hehe. Maybe it's because it's a side view?

tee hee... her name is miss piggy... im muffin those pics were taken only a few days ago... yeah they only way it really shows is when she stands up to smell the air (when i bring in her yummy lettuce)

I don't know EXACTLY how far along she is, but I know it will be soon (hopefully) her babies are getting big... and I can hear little teeth grinding too! Plus shes likes sticking close to her cozy now... and isn't quite as active as she used to be... even when I hold her she just snuggles down into her blanket and watches me... (I like that part)

Remember, feed her alfalfa hay, with a mixture of timothy hay. Give her extra vitamin c, and try not to handle her too much, unless you pick her up while she is in her cozy or something.

Ruby - lol no my real name is not muffin... its just a nickname i got from my boyfriend a few years back... and she does get lots of alfalfa hay too... although shes not the biggest fan of it... she just kinda picks at it... she loves her lettuce though... there is no happier moment in her day right than hearing my rip uo her lettuce. When I pick her up I use the two handed approach... ill cup my hands around her so that her whole body is supported...

When my pig Anges was pregnant...I thought she'd never give birth! Then of course she had to go and have the babies on Monday morning right after I left the house for work! Good luck! Babies are so cute, but they are a lot of work. My herd went from 4 (then one passed away) and Agnes had 2 babies, so now I have 5 pigs. They eat so much! Floor time is always a challenge for me because I have 2 boars, and 3 sows...that can't have floor time together (only one boar is fixed). Will you be keeping them all Muffin?

No I dont have the room for all of them.. I'm guessing she is going to be having 2 or three... and I will for sure be keeping a little girl... as for the other 1 or 2 my boyfriend is going to take them (providing they are of the same sex) and if i have more than that i know some friends who want some..
