Guinea Pig rescues

Hi, I've been breeding one of my girls and I've heard about how horrible it is to breed Guinea Pigs when there are so many homless pigs. So I've stopped breeding and have seriously considered fostering Guinea Pigs. I have a very nice large C&C cage available and I think I could give a pig a nice home and lots of attention untill he is adopted. BUT, I really don't think their are that many homeless pig out there like there are cats and dogs. Is there as big a need for Guinea Pig rescues as people make it out to be?

I think they should make more guinea pig rescues. There are only a few. I mean where I live all we have are pet stores that sell guinea pigs. So it is nessiccery that there is guinea pig shelters.
