Behavior Guinea pig ate cord?

Hi,
I'm making my guinea pigs a new c&c cage so I have them out in their playpen. I opened the door to it and forgot about it, as they normally don't come out anyways. I had my little sewing machine out and Abu decided that the cord to the foot pedal would be an amazing snack. It wasn't plugged in and it doesn't look like he actually ate too much. He did chew through the outside and through the wires. Should I be concerned?

I apologize if I put this thread in the wrong place.

Did he actually ingest any of the copper wires? That could be very, very serious if he did and they get into his intestines.

From what I can see, it doesn't look like he actually ate any of them, but he did chew through them.

Keep an eye on him. If he just chewed through it but didn't eat any he'll be ok. But definitely keep an eye on him for a day or so just to be sure.
