Sounds Grumpy piggy?

Muffin is sat in his pigloo this morning, he had a nap and is now sat the the doorway looking out. when I go over and speak to him, he makes a chattering with his teeth.

Does this mean he isn't a very happy piggy? It's the first time I've ever known him like this, mind you I have only had him 4 days!

That's the leave me alone now! sound. My one guy Roger makes it when I first start cleaning the cage, then he's fine and wants to help out with the cleaning.

I have a piggy and he is just a ol grump! He chatters at me sometimes and rumbles. He is just a grumpy butt. I tell him to stop being grumpy and pick him up anyway and he is fine. Since you have only had him a few days he probably just isn't use to you yet.

Mine makes that noise at veggie time I agree with @Mrs_Ames, he probably isn't used to you yet.

Thanks for your replies, he has turned his back on me this evening as I took him to the vets for a full health check and he wasn't at all impressed. He's sulking in his pigloo but still comes out if he thinks I have food for him!

Fred, my older and the two I've got does that teeth chattering when George gets to close if he wants to be left alone. They both chatter when they hear their food and their hay. George started doing that last night when I gave them their hay. First time too. It was rather cute.

He does seems to make a sort of half wheek half chatter when I give him something he really likes, its as though he's saying thanks!
