I would really like to get a group photograph of my piggies. I have six piggies altogether. Joey my only male who is unaltered and living alone due to persistent health issues, so sadly I don’t think he will be included. However, I have five girls; Anisette and Hero, Petunia, & Louise and Thelma Who live as neighbors in 3 separate cages. How do I get a picture of them all together without major misery, injury, etc? Has anyone taken large group photos? How did you get it to work?

Personally I prefer the natural pictures of pigs going about their business, than the ones where they've obviously been put in place, all lined up. But food is good bait for getting them all in a certain place - if you can put out a row of tasty veggies so they all approach it from one side, then you have a chance of getting them all (and I mean heads, not half heads, half bottoms) in one shot. And they look cute eating too!

If they're not normally in each other's company, the food may help distract them too. If they're not keen and find being with strange pigs stressful, you'll quickly see it and can stop right away. You can get pretty good image altering software, so you could always put them together on your computer!

I don't necessarily want them too posed I would just like them in the one shot. I would never do anything to stress or hurt my girls. I just want a piggy family Christmas photo of sorts.

I went to Petsmart and the photographer did a wonderful job of taking a picture of my 3 pigs who all lived separately because they all fought. The tip is to take the picture reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly fast and have other people holding the pigs down off to the side before releasing them for that split second for the photographer to snap the picture. lol

My scanner's not hooked up, so I took a dark fuzzy digital picture of my pigtures. (broken link removed) I'm pleased with how they turned out. It cost an arm and a leg to purchase, however.

Very cute! They look professionally done!

awwww soo cute. I had a couch before I got rid of it. I took a big old blanket and covered the couch and then put the piggies on it and try to snap pics. It was hard for me cause I was alone doing it and didnt think of veggies either. Duh
