I keep my guinea pig towels and fleece outside and I have to say, I have a whole pile of it. I neatly fold and stack them and put them in cardboard box, but everytime I reach in and I feel with caution (I hate spiders and those crawlers), especially at night. If I set up a couple of cubes to organize it better, do you think it will turn into rust over time? BTW I have white grids

This is just for storage, right? Is your pig living outside?

I have not heard of anyone using them outside. You could try and see how they do. They will not solve your problem with spiders though. It will probably be better if you get a plastic tote with lid to store your fleece and towels.
