Grids Grids from Bed Bath & Beyond?

I'm looking at moving my piggies from their current cage (pictured below) to a C&C. I've been able to find a place that sells coroplast locally, so I will be able to purchase that with no issues. My concern is that I have been able to find the grids locally that are safe. I was able to find grids at Bed, Bath, & Beyond online. Unfortunately, they do not have them in store (I will be double checking tomorrow as online said no, but I know that is not always correct). They look like they have the correct spacing, but I don't want to order them and then have them be the wrong ones (unsafe). Has anyone ordered grids from BB&B online? Were they the correct style?

The online description also says that the wire is 10x10 - so it should be the 9 square grids (the safe style). The grins ordered online should be safe but you should measure the interior grids before use to be safe.

Thank you. I'm going to try to find the grids locally today, but if I can't find them locally, I'm going to order them from online (which was my original plan, I'd just rather have them sooner if I can).

Those are the ones I ordered online and they were perfect and the correct width between bars.

I looked online last night for local places that might sell the grids, so today I'm going to go to a couple of them. If I can't find any, I'm going to get them online. I'm going to check Kmart, Sears, BB&B, and possibly Big Lots. I'm going to get my coroplast at Home Depot.

I've had good luck with amazon in getting grids and they do tend to have better prices if you have their prime membership. Even if the grids don't end up being the correct type they can still be useful in making a stand, or anywhere that the pigs won't have direct access to.

Those grids are fine, I have gotten six boxes of them and they all were fine. Now if you were to build a base, Target sell some that are 8 hole with some that are 4 holes, that seem heavier duty, I use those as the base/stand. When you build, use the connectors and 8" zipties for the extra umph for holding.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I saw on the UNSAFE GRIDS post, that some of the Kmarts grids had bigger holes/squares. Keep in mind that when buying grids.

I actually got mine at Kmart, but I verified that they were safe before I bought them. I got the Stor 6 Cube Storage Set. They are 10x10 wire grids, so they have 9 holes across.

Bed Bath and Beyond grids are perfectly safe but I have noticed that they tend to be a bit misshapen and not quite square. It's nearly impossible to use the connectors for the two boxes that I got.

I made my cage with the Bed Bath & Beyond grids. Didn't have a problem. Will be buying more to expand it.

I just ordered mine from amazon with most of the other stuff we needed including the zip ties, toys, water bottle, 2 boxes of the grids, hide house, grooming kit, natural science vit. C, the list goes on lol everything but food, hay, coroplast and bedding. it only ended up costing us 40 dollars for shipping for everything. and that was international shipping too. the inner squares are 1 3/4 in
