I did a google image search of the wild harvest guinea pig food. It has dyed green grains in it. If my kids eat too much food dyed junk food, they get funny colored poop too. Even my 7 year old knows what caused it, and that it doesn't mean he's dying.

Garbage in, garbage out.

My older Guinea Pig, at 3 years, has started to have green, hard poop. It started off as Golden Brown and hard so we thought maybe just something was going through her.
But its turned green now and we think she's on her last stretch of life. Any tips?

Yeah, I got a really great tip for you. Take the poor animal to a vet. What are you waiting for, the poop to turn purple? Maybe she'll hurry up and die, so you won't have to worry about it. Guinea pigs can live much longer with the proper care, but you seem unwilling to provide it.

just to warn you, we don't have any small animal vets around. Our closest vet is probably about 3-4 hours away.
The fact that you warn us tells me that you already know what users are going to tell you. You really know it is your responsibility to care for this animals health. What do you mean probably 3-4 hours? Do you not know your nearest vet? If you own animals a vets number should be on speed dial.
I have no idea why the poop would be green and hard. Maybe a vet could tell you, but wait, you can't be inconvenienced to see one.
I am really appalled by your lack of care and respect for this little life that was placed in your hands.

I ran her IP address and she is in or near a pretty large metropolitan area where I know there are many vets. There is no way the vets are 3-4 hours away. That is nothing more than another excuse because either she doesn't want (or her parent won't pay) to take any of her pigs to the vet.

You ask her questions, she ignores them and doesn't answer or she makes even more excuses. I really feel sorry for the pigs in her care. She's been advised so many times over the last year and basically has ignored every single thing she's been told. She's to the point now where she just wastes everyone's time.

I read the thread over on gl that she started when she bought her latest pig and she even went so far as to state that she thought she'd get treated better there than she had been "over there" (meaning here most likely).
