I think my Monty has learned to take advantage of me. Everytime I go past his cage he complains for food (and gets is most of the time.) But now its gotten so bad that he won't let me hold him with out a chunk of lettuce in front of him. He has even taken to eating my hair if there isn't anything else! Any way to get my sweet, unspoiled, baby back? ;-)

Yes. Stop spoiling him. You have to get him on a schedule. My piggies don't wheek until morning when I wake up and evening when I get home. They know there is no veggies in between. I do give them a treat at night but I usually hide it in their cage.

Once he knows you are not one big veggie he will stop wheeking all day long. Try cutting back to some sort of schedule.

It is hard to not spoil them! Mine wheek everytime I open the fridge door! It is hard not to run over there and throw lettuce in there cage. Good luck with him! :0)

rotten little piggy!! That's too cute. Maybe try just going over to his cage and talking to him instead of always giving him a treat or food? Maybe he just wants some more of your attention? I'm sure he realizes that he can get you to do whatever he wants!! You slave you!!

I don't have my pigs on a schedule but they have learned that if they wheek at me and it's not feeding time, they don't get anything but I do stop and talk to them for a bit and stick my hand in the cage and pet whoever is willing to let me pet them.
