Grass??

Grass??

My 2 pigs love eating and laying in the grass when I take them outside. I started thinking about maybe I should make their bedding by planting grass in the bottom. I think this might cut back on costs of bedding and food. Does anyone know if this would be a good idea?

jrm698 says "i tryed that on a smaller scale to put in there cage but they mowed that grass and plants so fast it wasn't worth the month it it took to grow it." - so it looks like it's unlikely to work.

I grow the fast growing grass seed in pots or litter trays and give it my pigs. It only lasts a few days at most but they love in. I want to grow them a tray of really long grass soon and see if they like running through it
