My husband wants to grow some grass in our yard, specifically for the pigs to eat. Is there any particular kind of grass he should plant? Is this even safe?

Im sure just regular grass (not sure what its called) should be fine as long as there are no chemicals sprayed on t. I let my piggies graze on unsprayed grass alot i also occasionally give them pet grass too

Yes, we have a large outdoor pen for my pigs outside that has grass that was not chemically sprayed. We also grow piggie safe veggies, so if the veggies are already to be plucked out of the grown I hose them down and let the piggies eat the leaves and some of the vegetables hanging off of the plants. Some of them even likes to burrow for our carrots.

I buy wheatgrass for my pigs to eat. It's very nutritious and they really enjoy it.

Great- thanks guys!

I just feed them grass from my garden. Nothing special, just 'normal' grass
