grass@hay??

The ones they use to make hay will grow that long.

The average kind of grass in gardens probably won't. Haha, but wouldn't it be a good excuse not to mow the lawn? :D
 
It sure would! Thats what I meant though... the grass in our garden probably wouldn't grow that long! Apparently, ticks are frequent in long grass. Thats what my vet told me when Ascot had ticks.
 
actually, yes it can grow extreamly long, and hay is basically a form of dried grass somewhat. I have wild grass in my yard in the summer that can get almost the length from my wrist to my elbow, so ya sure it can, you just need to find the right kind of grass.

The one thing I worry about though, is that there wont be grass around in the winter, but i dont know what your weather is like either
 
If all comes to worse, I would just let the pig forage on grass until you can get hay, but don't put it off for long at all. Pigs love hay! They need it. But if you're out of hay, make sure you find something else for him temporarily.
