I got my pictures up of two of my cages and some of my supplies! Please look at them and post comments if you can!

mncavylover- Thank you so much for telling me how to post pictures!

i love the mini fridge.

about the pink grids on your piggies cage, are they kid grids? how big are they (in inches)? they look kinda small.

Loves2Travel- they aren't 14 inches across, they are 12 inches across. This isn't a permanet cage, just a temporary cage. They aren't really kid grids, just some grids I had back when I was younger. I knew they weren't big enough, but I had leftover coroplast and couldn't make another cage with the regular grids. These grids are VERY hard to connect and disconnect, my fingers were swollen when I was done! The grids are also nice to take outside because they fold great!

ok, glad to here its not permanent!

Yah, I have already decided that probably tonight I am getting him out of that cage. There is a 4 week boar in a 2x4 that needs a companion because the other boar with him was getting a bit mean, considering their cage*seperated by grids* is next to females. Chubby(going into the 2x4) dosen't pay too much attention to the girls on floor time*his floortime is next to their cage* so I don't think they will mind being together. What I'm going to do with the coroplast is attach it to a 3x3 yellow cage and overlap regular grids and use them. That little addition will probably just be a feeding area or sleeping area. It'll add about 1.7x2.7 grids. However you would say that? Well, thanks for liking the fridge. I got it at a garage sale for $3!! I just got there when they marked it down from $5. It works great too!!

hows the new cage coming?

Okay, the two boys were getting along fine on floor time, some strutting and mounting, which is perfectly normal. But then, some other boys were on floor time*they were seperated by grids* and started making a huge rumble. I was in the middle of a major cleanup and couldn't take my time out to put them back in their cage. Then the little one got frustrated and started to bicker. I thought all was well, but then when I put them in the cage they went at it. Not as a big ball type, just annoying each other to the fullest extent and then chittering very loudly. This is after I attached the yellow cage to the other yellow cage. I will be posting those pictures shortly. So I now have Chubby in a large cardboard box and am making him a 2x3 in a few days. He's getting floor time about double the time he got it before, so he's getting about 6 hours of floor time- unsupervised, only because I can not watch him the entire time. The boars in the yellow cage are enjoying themselves, which is great. I now have 3 guinea pigs that would rather be alone or with a female- Simon, Chubby, and my 4 week old male!! I'm making 2 2x3's for Simon and Chubby. It'll be green with either chrome or white grids, I will also post those cage photos soon. Simon is in a cage equivalent to a 2x2. He also gets the same amount of floor time as Chubby, 4-6 hours each day. Can't wait till I post the new cage(s) photos!!

I just added three of my own pictures, FINALLY!

Denise, your cage is amazing! I love how you have storage space as well.

awesome cage denise! why is one sperated from the others?

No problem, Ruby. =)
I love your cage Denise, and yours looks great for a temporary cage. The 14" grids' connectors should be a bit easier, but you may want to use a mallet... I had to for some stubborn connectors!
