Girl pigs and mounting?

Do sows ever mount each other? Like as a dominance behavior? I saw it for the first time today. There was rumblestrutting involved, too. They are 4 months old and we've had them for a month.

yes its normal, the might be goin through puberty

Or probably through heat, or dominance. Very normal.

Mine mount the most when they are in heat. It's normal behavior.

Yeah, I checked them well. And it was only a one day thing. Back to normal.

One of mine is in heat again, so the mounting has started again. Peaches was mounting Pumpkin's head this morning!

My guinea pigs were meeting a friends' guinea pig and it started trying to mount them and Pony tried to mount the foreign pig, begbie didn't. After that they started fighting pretty violently and we're not introducing them again. I have the video I can get from my friend if anyone's interested. I'm going to get it for myself but I could post it here; probably will even if nobody wants it... he he he.
