Getting new cavy masters!!!

Yes, I the cavy slave am going today to get 1 or possibly 2 or 3 new guinea pigs!!! Jasper is lonely so I hope he will like the new boys. I haven't seen them but I'm going some time around noon to pick out the ones I want, they have three males. Two 10 month olds and a three month old. The three month old is tri-colored (white,brown,rust). The ten months old sound cute too. One is grey and white, and the other is brown and rust color. I can't say this for sure because I haven't met them but I'm thinking the tri-colored and the grey and white ones. I can't wait!!! I wish my camara wasn't broke I want to post pics. up as soon as they get home!

1. A guy who can't take care of all of them. NOT a breeder or petstore I made sure.

Yes, I did everything even before I started looking for friends for Jasper (and me!). The dogs are also getting training.

Personally, I would not get more pigs until I was absolutely sure your dogs were traines and not going to get into your room again. And I mean...100% sure. Where is your quarentine room? How is it any more secure that your room where your pig was killed?

Well the little guys home!!! I only got one. He's White, dark and light brown. He is sooo cute!! He's all set-up in his querinte (sp?) cage! He's kinda shy but hopefully he will get more settled in.

The cage is in the same room but far away from Jaspers cage.

Well dacourt I understand where you are coming from but she has dog proofed the cage since the incident. And Jaspers is so lonely and she wants a friend for him.

Yeah, that's why I got one so soon. I really wanted to wait but I could tell Jasper was sad.

Not nessicarrly my room is big and he is no where near Jasper. And if I have chosee between, my guinea pig being safe and quarantine and have to pick the first.
