It took me six months to realize that my cage doesn't need a roof, and now I finally took my old cages apart. Effectively having a 3x4 now. :)

You can see Gobi (black) in the towel house. Bonnie is exploring the hay somewhere, and Zirbel is still hiding cause I only finished the cage ten minutes ago.

Looks great! What are you using as bedding?

Wood chips (don't know the exact name), hay, and a cheap carpet.

Here they are now happily exploring the cage. Bonnie, as usual, is the queen of the hill.

What is the white plastic "shelf" in the corner?

Wow, looking really good! I bet the pigs are loving it.

The white shelf is part of a triangular plastic bathroom shelf. It's been sitting useless in a corner for years until I realized that it's perfect for the pigs.

And yes, they are now very happy, popcorning and eating hay. :)

The cage looks like a lot of fun for the piggies. Excellent!

Great cage!

That's a great idea! I'm sure your guinea pigs love it.

I just took a picture of the white shelf so you can take a closer look.

that's so cool!
