I just got a guinea pig. He is happy and a joy, yet im afriad he is going to get depressed without a buddy. My parents didnt want me having more than one. But now that they see how well i take care of him theyr letting me get another one. Do I need to bring mobo to meet his new partner before I get a new one? Or just get another pig and hope they bond?

You could try looking for pigs in shelters, they'll usually let you take him back if things don't go as planned. Guinea pigs get along according to personality, you could go read on how to introduce new pigs into your home, and the only time you should completely separate them only when there's blood shed or fur flying everywhere, I'm just saying this because people who are new to this panic easily when pigs do normal meeting stuff (rumbling, strutting, mounting etc.). Good luck, and congrats that you're getting a partner for your pig! :)
