Bonding Getting a female piggie to bond with my male

For anyone that didn't read about Chewy before, I found him in my yard and he was pretty sick for a little while. He's perfectly healthy now, and I've been communicating with a rescue for a couple of weeks now about adopting a new piggie.

They've got a female that I plan on going to pick up tomorrow (YAY! I'm excited) but I've never had to introduce one to another before. I've read about how I should introduce them on a neutral ground, and I've got the clean fleece and toys to put in the cage when I get her, but what else should I know or do?

Is it easier for male and females to bond than it is males with males? I could have gotten males, but I figured Chewy would like a girlfriend and since she's spayed she can't get pregnant

They told me she was spayed because when they got her she had cysts that they had to remove, and that she's about 3 years old. They also said she's been alone for a while because her cage mate died a while back, but the other two options are a massive spayed female (they make her sound gigantic) and a female that bites.

They girl we're getting is GORGEOUS though I can't wait to share pigtures!

That's excellent news for you and Chewy! I have no firsthand experience but I've read males and females are easier to bond.
