getting a buddy?

~If you have a 5 month old girl pig can you get a baby girl pig and put them together? Do they have to meet eachother sorta before????? can you put them in the same cage right away or could they be together at all because of the age difference??? I have an abby so does that mean i have to get the same type of pig? sorry peoples i just have a few questions lol. oh and in convincing the parents... what are some helpful things to tell them about how two guinea pigs are better than one other than that they are herd animals??? thanks a ton!!!! =D~ ~C~

In case you missed the part on the social life page you need to quarantine any new pigs coming into the home in a different room for at least 3 weeks. Then when the quarantine period is over you can introduce them.
