Grooming Fur growing back funny

I have an absolutely gorgeous curly texel girl. In November, we moved, and her comb got lost in the move, and when I was able to replace it weeks later, she had developed some matting, that had to be cut off, so she ended up getting a full haircut to make sure there weren't any more I was missing underneath the top layer of her fur.
But since then, her fur has grown back really thin and weird, and I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for this? I'd love to see her full coat all nice again.
