Well, I seem to be unintentionally p*ssing a lot of people off at the moment, so I thought I'd attempt to make amends my posting a funny story I have, almost guaranteed not to raise controversy (I hope).

I have two girl piggers, Cocoa and Petal. Cocoa never makes a wheek, never has from the day I got her, but Petal more than makes up for her in volume and enthusiasm. Every time I open the fridge door the riot begins, and even more so when I open the vegetable drawer.

Recently, my fiance and I went away on a holiday at the beach, leaving my girls with my brother. After I couple of days, I noticed something really weird. I hadn't noticed at first, but every time my fiance opened the fridge door in our cabin, he would make a couple of wheeking noises! I think he was missing our girls, and was making up for the difference in noises. I just found it funny that it took me a couple of days to notice!

Hah, that's hilarious. Lol. It's finny, I have a boy named Cocoa and he only wheeks when we give him veggies too. Maybe it's the name...

*G* I do that myself. They go mad whenever I go into the kitchen, but sometimes they don't notice it at first, so I say "Wheek, wheek, wheek" to tease them - or I just say it without realizing it myself. I'm as programmed as they are.

That's so cute! AND funny.

My husband doesn't really have much to do with our piggers, but he is the only one they talk back to. Whenever he sees one, he'll start wheeking at them, and they sure enough will talk back to him. They don't do that for anyone else - maybe our pitch is wrong.
