[The Dumpling]

What's something funny/cute/quirky that your guinea pigs likes to do? Dumpling (and her predecessor Piggy) likes to walk around my apt underneath a brown paper bag. So I'll cut out one of the sides of a small brown paper bag (the type you put your lunches in), put it on the floor in front of her, and boom, off she goes scuttling around underneath the brown bag. I think she feels more secure, whereas if I just put her on the floor, she looks really scared before running for the nearest dark corner. I'm guessing this way, she doesn't feel people can see her so she's comfortable walking around. Lala never did this though

What else? Anybody else want to share their funny/cute/quirky stories?

Well, my cavy Granny follows lettuce anywhere. You can make her go up the ramp, down the ramp, turn, jump, beg, and you can make her run around her cage. It is quite funny.


Any other people have any stories?

One of my boys, Cocoa, walks around with his butt in his pigloo and his torso out of it. Frankly, he looks like a turtle/guinea pig hybrid! And Pippin likes to lay flat on his stomach, with his legs sticking out of his back side and his chin resting on the floor.

=) Cute! One time my friend brought her bunny over to my house. I was playing with Lala at the time, and all of a sudden Lala jumped out of my lap, walked over to the bunny (who was half sleeping with his eyes closed), and CLIMBED right on top of the bunny (who was about 4 times his size) and sat on his back! Lala immediately started chewing and pulling on the bunny's hair. I quickly moved Lala off, but it was the funniest thing I'd ever seen. And the bunny didn't even move the entire time.

awwwww, that must have been cute. When i babysat my middle school's piggies (2 brothers-friends, Calvin and Willie, such cuties! ) They did the oddest thing. When one would go into the house and wouldn't let the others in, the other one would go and pull the top off, then climb on top on him to get it. it was soooooo cute!
