Frozen Romain

Ok i am totally shocked. I just went to my fridge to grab the bag of Romain that i got 2 days ago, for the girls veggie time. When i started separating it, i found it was partically FROZEN!!!! OMG my fridge must be really cold..hahah. I have heard that you can't give any animal frozen veggies as the veggies turn bad after 1 hour, something to do with the unfreezing process. So what i did was quickly washed them off and put them in the girls cage. I figure if they eat them in 15 mins great, if not i'll chuck them out. The only reason i even gave them the lettuce was because it was all i had left until tommorow when i go shopping for them. (side note: never thought i'd go shopping for my gp's veggies every 3 days..hahah) The girls inhaled their veggies and in about 15 mins it was all GONE!!! They were actually popcorning while they ate it...very funny sight.

any thoughts about partically frozen veggies

It happens to romaine, that is why it is advised to keep them in the drawers at the bottom of the freezer.
