I'm doing a speech in my Communication Arts on pet stores and breeders. I am wanting to interview a few rescuers, so if anyone (such as CavySpirit, Erin) can answer a few questions, it would be great. Thanks, here are the interview questions.
1) On average, how many guinea pigs do you normally have in the rescue in a month's time?
2)On average, how many guinea pigs do you rescue in one month?
3) Do you ever "bust" breeders, and rescue the breeding pigs from them? (Like the Hollister rescue)
4) On average, how many times a year do you "bust" backyard breeders, if you do?
5) On average, how much is the annual cost for rescuing per month? How much of the money being paid comes from donations and/or sponsors per month??
Those are the questions, I'd very much appreciate it if at least 2 rescuers answered. Also, if you could please provide your :
Name(full would be good, but first would be okay)
City and State *and*
What your rescue is named (Unless there isn't a name <yet>)
Thank you very much if you answer!!
ps. Does anyone have the Hollister rescue link? I'm going to put pictures on my Power point from there, to show the harsh conditions. Also, I'm going to go to pet stores and take pictures to show how small the cages are, and then take some pics of my cages to show the huge difference.
