How many grams of food should i give my guinea pigs in each serving? How many servings should i give them every day. What is the best fruit/vegetable to give guinea pigs. I know that you have to give them a log to chew on to keep there teeth down and i know that apple tree is best, but does carrot to the same thing or is it better to just stick with apple tree?

Hey. As a minimum you should give each pig a cup of fresh vegetables a day. I probably give them a little more than that, half a cup in the morning, half a cup after school and half a cup in the evening. Go to (broken link removed) for vegetable ideas.

1/8-1/4 of a cup. Sorry, don't know the amount in grams.

One. I give mine constant pellets, but that's just me.

Carrots are bad if given more than one baby carrot per day. You'd also have to keep replenishing the carrots, and that would be a lot of carrots!
