Can someone tell me how much coroplast i will need for a 2x3 c&c cage? and also if there is possibly anything else i could use for the flooring on the upper level? Also how thick should the coroplast be, since you have a choice at harborsales.com thank you

Taken from How to Make a C&C Cage

With 14" grids, the measurements should be:
41" x 27" for a 2 x 3 grid cage
56" x 27" for a 2 x 4 grid cage
71" x 27" for a 2 x 5 grid cage
84" x 27" for a 2 x 6 grid cage

Add 12 inches to the length and width for a 6 inch wall all the way round.

So,using the above measurements, you should get:
53" x 39" for a 2 x 3 grid cage
68" x 39" for a 2 x 4 grid cage
83" x 39" for a 2 x 5 grid cage
96" x 39" for a 2 x 6 grid cage
(96" is a full sheet length-8 feet)

My coroplast is 4mm thick. The 2mm is definitely too thin to build a cage although if you read the posts from (oh I can't remember - was it cornhill???) he makes an insert to lift out and remove the soiled bedding. 2mm might be good for that because it's more flexible and maybe you could even roll it up. I use newspaper sheets as my inner layer and they roll them up with the soiled bedding inside and toss. The 6mm I think is not necessary although it would probably work well for things like lofts and then you wouldn't need any other support under it.

If your making a 2x3 cage you'll need (in inches) 56x36.Really ita 42x24 but you gotta consider 6 inches for the sides or even more if you want it higher.

I got my coroplast and cubes now. I ordered a coroplast panel thing with the size of 53x39.

I don't know the thickness of corplast. Mine is (2/16th) I use for making signs in my business and it works fine for cage sides and flooring. My sides are only 4" high. That way my Pickles and Rosie can see me all the time.

My lofts are made of grid also with corplast as a floor. Works fine.
