Hi there,

I was wondering if I could make a "fleece forest" without the fleece? Can I use any material? I don't current have any fleece.. But my guinea pig (one of two) keeps getting kicked out of their igloo and is constantly on the top. I just feel bad for him. He does try getting into it but never succeeds because the other one keeps kicking him out. (Another igloo will be coming on the 24th, yaaay).. I tried making him a cardboard igloo, but he tried to eat it.. So! I'm resorting to try and make him a little hideout for himself. I just would love to find out if I can make the hideout, with strings of material from like.. Clothes.. Or any other fabrics?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

My guys would eat any other type of fabric. I'm not sure why they don't eat the fleece:crazy:!

You can drape a towel over the corner of the cage to make a tent. If you cut other fabrics into strips, most of them will fray. Fleece does not fray.

Here are some samples of towel tents.

Dangit. I guess I'll just have to wait for a few days. I can't wait for the other igloo to come. I want them to both be happy. xD

Edit: Ah! Thank you Lissie. :D I'll try that.
