Finished my 3rd level, now its dark underneath

Well I did it. I extended the 3rd level. I'm finished. No more levels. They love it of course. My husband wont speak to me (tough -), he will get over it. The only thing I dont like is that by adding levels you are making the level underneath it dark. It makes it depressing looking. I didn't build the levels completely around the cage. Cage is 2x4 and levels are approx 1 x4, but still, I dont like that its dark under neath each level. ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM IN WHICH IT BOTHERS THEM?

you can put lamps lol (I've seen a cage on the photo gallery with lights)

I've seen that to. I have thought of that. Don't you think its getting a little nuts. Oh well, maybe I will put a small lamp there. It probably would make me feel better.

Besides, that ought to be good for a great comment from your husband! Then you can share it with us!! LOL. Get them an end table too - to sit the lamp on!! he he.

I'm sitting here hysterical baby bears. Very funny. Pretty soon my piggies will evict us. They will just take over the whole apartment.

I have the same problem.. its really dark under the top level but they seem to like it. They prefer the darkness to hide in.. mine anyway

Thats what happened to me. I didn't like it so I just took the second level down! I did think if putting lamps, but, well, whats the point?!

Yes, the second level does make it darker. But I just use that to make a hidey house, of sorts --- put special bedding in the dark corners, maybe in a little special box, and they seem to like it just as though it was a pigloo. Except there's no actual sides and lid, so you can interact with them better!
