I finally convinced my mom to get a C&C cage. Because we got our first beloved pig of CL and she came with a pet store "XL" cage. (39" long). Anyways then we got her a little friend.... I noticed they looked cramped and I had no room for toys and they bicker sometimes when one is in the way plus when they are excited they run around but usually they have no room for that! So I told my mom and we will be getting one sometime this month....(2×3-2×4)
However my littlest just turned 3 months old...so do I need to baby proof? If so, how? And I want to make it as soon as possible so I don't want to get coro right now....will it be fine like this: Make a stand then put layers of towels and 2 layers of fleece and then top of with grids...
Will that work?
Thanks I appreciate ALL answers!

I recommend you put a shower curtain on the very bottom to protect whatever the cage will be sitting on from water and urine.

To baby proof perhaps the most viable option for you would be attaching cardboard to the bottom half of the grids, or getting double the amount of panels and overlapping them (obviously this is more expensive then cardboard but you would then have spare grids for if you ever need them in the future).

Thanks! I think I just might use those!
