Ferretstore

You can get them at www.TheFerretStore.com - with free shipping over $35, may as well order big bags of hay while you're at it; this is where I always get my hay! If you first join ButterflyMall.com, you can get a 4% rebate on your purchases at ferretstore.

oh yes

I went to the ferret store and ordered 2 pkgs of the large fiddlesticks, 3 bags of hay (free shipping yippeeeee)..........NOW how do I put the fiddlesticks together, and how do I attach it to the cage?
thanks!!!

I used Metal wiring to attach mt fiddlesticks to the cage. But i think if you get a long enough zip tie that'll work also.

Cup Hooks

Hi Aimee :D How's Petey?

You can also screw some cup hooks into the fiddle sticks to attach them to the sides of the cubes, I've done something similar with wood, let me know if you want me to share a photo!

Petey is awesome! he is so much fun!
We got a long cabinet from a neighbor. It had drawers in it but we removed them and are putting shelves in it. I'm going to give it the shabby chic treatment. Fits in here better than the sink base did. it's nice to ahve the cage off the floor.
Petey i think shoulda been a rat. he tried to climb up stuff!

What is he trying to climb? Young pigs are so curious, I like when they are older and content to sit in one place for awhile!

Cages at arms reach level are great, I think you interact with them more when they are at your level. Hopefully you'll be able to share photo's soon. :)

He tries to climb EVERYTHING!!
Yesterday he was trying to get on top of his hidey house (a small plastic basket turned upside dosn with a door cut in one end). He tries to climb up the divider under the 2nd level, etc. he's a riot. Guido just sits and looks at him like he's crazy.

Kamikaze piggy

Be REALLY careful with climbing piggies! Mine has managed to climb out of a C&C cage and jump to the floor (breaking a leg) TWICE by pushing a hidey hole over to the edge and climbing up on it! He could have broken his face! You may want to cover any potentially tempting openings to protect too-smart-for-his-own-good Petey!

Our cage is completely closed in. I have a cat and children, LOL

I made my ramps with 8" wide Corplast. I cut them longways with the grooves, then cut 1" on each side so I can fokd both sides up and use plastic ties to hold them upright. Then I put in a piece of carpet, (not shag) on the corplast with plastics ties so it will stay. Look at my site and notice the ramps.
