It's that time of year again. So what are some of your favorite Christmas songs and artists? Or for those of you who don't celebrate- what are your seasonal/holiday favorites?

One that I enjoy and have listened to a lot already is "Do they Know it's Christmas Time" by Band-Aid.

I love all the old time traditional Christmas carols. I always need reminders that Christ is the center of Christmas so I don't get too caught up in all of the other stuff that happens at this time of year. O Come All ye Faithful, Silent Night-- O Holy Night is really one of my favorites.

I love Christmas Shoes! Also Christmas Baby by Mariah Carey, and Don't Save it all for Christmas Day by Celine Dion

T, I've heard songs from it...and oh my god! *swoons* His version of "Little Drummer Boy" is one of the best I've ever heard!

I think my favorite would have to be 'Have yourself a merry little christmas'

This might be giving away my age a little, but "Christmas Don't be Late" by Alvin and the Chipmunks always put me in a happy mood! It reminds me of going to my grandmother's house as a kid and she would always put the record on for my cousins, sister and I. It makes me feel like a kid again! Love it! Winter Wonderland is also a favorite of mine.

I'm not even Christian (not at all a thing against those who are, mind you), but I love the old traditional Christmas carols. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is my all time favourite.

The Band-Aid song is catchy, and I'm just old enough to remember the famine, but if you listen to the lyrics, it's kind of..... off. "There won't be snow in Africa this Christmas Time"..... Really? I'd have never guessed. hehe.

ohh, Trans-Siberian Orchestra is awesome...

another one I like is 'Aussie Jingle Bells'

Dashing through the bush
In a rusty Holden Ute
Kicking up the dust
Esky in the boot
Kelpie by my side
Singing Christmas songs
It's summer time and I am in
My singlet, shorts & thongs
CHORUS:
OH, JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS
JINGLE ALL THE WAY
CHRISTMAS IN AUSTRALIA
ON A SCORCHING SUMMER'S DAY
JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS
CHRISTMAS TIME IS BEAUT
OH WHAT FUN IT IS TO RIDE
IN A RUSTY HOLDEN UTE

Engine's getting hot
Dodge the kangaroos
Swaggy climbs aboard
He is welcome too
All the family is there
Sitting by the pool
Christmas day, the Aussie way
By the barbecue!

CHORUS
Come the afternoon
Grandpa has a doze
The kids and uncle Bruce
Are swimming in their clothes
The time comes round to go
We take a family snap
Then pack the car and all shoot through
Before the washing up

Love this song, very catchy :)
